Dr.Stern started Geoscience Animations and Videos study since 2016 and founded UTD Geoscience Studio (UTD GSS) to direct and help students create Geoscience Educational videos.

He also gave a new class in 2017 Fall, 'Permian Basin', with Lowell Waite.
